The White Fire of Vajrasattva – A Perfect Healing Meditation

O diamond warrior, purify my karma, meet me as we transcend time and space. Honour my potential, and bless me with your purifying, glistening healing nectar of white light. Restores us to our true home and our true nature.

Radiance. Shunyata. White Fire.

An experience of coming home so pure and true as to echo through eternity.
Dynamite vajra prince, smash my selfishness asunder, heal me of my greed and my foolishness. Hero fight by my side as I face down all demons. Lend me your gaze of white fire. Let me sit with you in boundless pure light.

Great Protector, Love me passionately. May your diamond blaze melt all that stands between me and the truth. I dissolve into you, bond sealed across space and time.

Vajrasattva nature pure like the sun, shining scintillating rainbows through the universal fields, helping lotuses everywhere grow and bloom.

Let us stand nowhere, striving side by side beyond space and time to release all beings from their suffering, so that all that lives may be free.

Mantra – Words for Worlds, Echoes in Eternity

A mantra is essentially just some foreign words in a tune at first, and yet people seem to be finding meaning in them, even emotion. People are singing with all their hearts, harmonies are emerging, and it is beautiful. Something might touch you, an archetypal hand reaches out from the void. Eventually, you learn what the mantra evokes, indeed eventually you learn what all of the mantras evoke, and they are immense and vast and can leave one trembling, weeping even. I come up against all my various responses to humanity when I look at Facebook. It is an obsession for so many people, an addiction, a window through which we relate to the world and assess our lives. What is it we are doing and why?

I see friends who are obviously successful in the material sense, a plethora of exotic locations and smiles. I see a wife who I might covet if I allowed myself to get sucked in and look at all the photos chosen to show off her beauty. I see children everywhere, abundance, successes, reminders of my own choices, my own battles. I see those who would share every thought, every detail of their lives, and the cries of the needy and the lonely. Metta from the Sun – Moving Beyond

The wisdom teachings,  or the literature of the prajna-paramita (perfection of wisdom) make it clear that in ultimate reality there is no separation of beings. Is is as if all “beings” are emanations of the same field of light.

Indeed the teachings on interconnectedness speak of beings as being like beams of light all interconnecting. In this sense, again the sunshine metaphor is perfect, as something like sunshine is the essence and field from which we all emanate. So this sunshine is the buddhafield, the tao from which all arises and to which all returns. Continue reading Metta from the Sun – Moving Beyond

Avalokiteshvara

He sits, on his cloud, working tirelessly to release beings from suffering. He took a vow. He will work until there is liberation for all that lives.

At one stage, it became too much, he lost heart and he thought of himself. On breaking this vow he was split into a thousand pieces.
